When properly diluted by a carrier oil, it can be applied to the stomachs of children and adults to relieve gastrointestinal issues. Stafafura is fantastic for the home diffuser, or you can place 2-3 drops of essential oil in a bowl of hot water, then place your head over the bowl and a towel over your head.
